70mai Dash Cam Battery Pack - Test & Review PP

Thanks for the help. Everything works so far. Just the charging speed with the battery is slow since I am charging with the ciagrette lighter. Will try to get a cable from the fuse box to charge the battery. I think you recommended 16 guage wires right? ( to run from the fuse box to the battery). I am open to any suggestions for the cables as well.

12AWG 100% Pure OFC copper wire.

Putting an amplifier under the seat is amateur.
Lol.
A friends car had an intermittent fault, it would just stop working.
Turned out the ECU is under seat from factory.
Went back to dealer a few times work for a bit and would fail again.
I was asked to have a look. I rearranged the way the ECU plug was pointing and that fixed the problem.

The point is engineers put stuff under the seats so it must be ok lol

Many VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars with the MQB platform ( Golf 7, A3 8V, Seat Leon 5F, etc) and similar, have the stock amplifier for the sound system directly under the drivers seat.
I have not once heard of an issue because of the placement.

So yeah, if they put stuff there it will work.
They spend enough time with development.

Can this be charged via other means if a car is not driven often?
Yes, very important question.

In old world we do not have those Big gulp or supersize me options

What about rain water / moisture?
Or worse, someone spills a 64oz. big gulp of soda pop? lol
No issues with water. The amp is so far from the feet that it doesn't get any wet or moisture.
If you decide to spill your sugar with some water in it and it flows towards the amp, you might get issues. But we don't have these sizes of drinks here in Europe.🤣

Q: Why am I posting this Promo Code?
A: 70mai asked me to, and this is the best bang for your buck battery pack for the US market.
However, stay tuned for the soon to be released battery packs from VIOFO, and the EnergyWell P6 for the US market.
I’m excited to get my hands on those packs for testing, and review to see how they compare to the O.G. @BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8, and 70mai.
Let’s goooooooo!

1.) If you buy the 70mai pack, make sure you buy the Hardwire Version for $220 so you get the included 3-Wire Output Cable.
You can buy your own CLA adapter, and easily connect it to the hardwire charging cable.

2.) If you buy the CLA version for $210 you must buy the 3-Wire Output Cable separately for $10 extra.
So complicated!
There should only be one version will all necessary cables included.

Have asked they put all cables in one box
Why are they using your alias if you aren't getting anything?
Seems dumb to me.

I assume "sub zero" is below 0 C? Here it means 0 F.
Also I assume you are talking about the 70 mai power pack?

What do people do when it gets below freezing with these LiFePO packs that can't charge in below freezing weather, do you have to switch to the cigarette lighter for power during the winter and forget about parking mode?

Yeah Celsius, i can just about handle the 1 gal = 3.7 Liters, but when i use that it is most often related to gas prices and so my immediate depressing feeling ( 7.7 USD/gal here atm or 15 DKkr /L in local lingo )
I am taking a drive shortly and will look at power pack CUZ it feel strange it should go flat so "fast "

Okay me being a avid shooter i also have a OK grip on most distances like 50 / 100 yards, though most often i dont bother, so i will happily shoot 50 yard benchrest targets at 55 M, but 100 yards i think is 93 M which by chance is the distance to what use to me our old 50 M target before i build the new shed to shoot from.
