A118c Screen Problems

My A118c has developed a screen problem. The unit records fine and plays back Okay through Registrator Viewer, inc GPS, but the LCD screen is recently illegible. It shows random horizontal and vertical bars and looks as if the scaling is over-sized - I just get the W of the start-up Welcome screen and can't see the menu's or what is being recorded. I've tried the reset button and reinstalling the firmware but it remains the same. Anyone experienced this before or got any idea's how to fix it?

Yeah sounds like a cracked or otherwise bad LCD, or bad LCD flex cable.

In that case, I would use the AV-Out and plug in something to see if you can get the video on that. Then just use it like the Mobius or other cams that don't have screens.
