After about one month use, the screen turns to purple during recording. However, it still can record the voice. Just can not capture the video. Has anybody met this before?

does it matter if it's too hot? and when you say "screen" do you mean the actual recording, when playing the file on your computer, or the little screen on the camera itself?

Thanks for your reply. Actually it is also purple when playing the file on the computer. It is only around 70 degree in Ohio these days. Can not be too hot....

a sunny 70 degree day can still get over 100 in the car when parked in the sun.

try bringing the camera inside and let it come to room temp. then try running it from a phone charger. or are your night videos purple too? if so, you should contact the seller for an exchange.

Probably faulty CMOS sensor ?

It works in the room under in a dark light (picture 1). However, it is still purple. It turn to totally purple under a bright light. like a overexposure (picture 2). Could be the sensor problem?
