So 4K30 HDR is actually 4K @ 60 fps, but they're combining two subsequent frames shots at slightly different times to create the HDR effect and so you wind up with 30 frames per second of video.Apparently, 4K 60fps with HDR is not possible...
4K60 HDR is possible, but that would require the dashcam to be capable of shooting at 120 fps. There are many cameras available today that can do that, but it does add more complexity, processing power requirements, cooling additions, etc.
