Has anyone had issues formatting a >32GB SDXC SD card fat 32 and using it reliably in their dashcam?
I'm expecting a Panorama G dashcam next week and want a nice large card to save some driving footage later in the month when I go on vacation. I'm thinking about something like this PNY 128GB SD card for $58 and using FAT32 Format to convert it from exFAT to FAT32 to make it usable in the camera. Besides a compatibility issue, after reading this article, I'm a little concerned about whether or not the FAT32 Format utility will overwrite the "protected area" of the card and affect its performance or reliability. Unfortunately the SD Formatter 4.0 utility will not convert exFAT to FAT 32.
Any thoughts?
