Small Correction:
The light grey tape mount used in this test must be from a previous B40 bracket, the Street Guardian SG9665GC bracket uses Black VHB tape.

This test confirms that I did right in setting the Ev to -0,3 (easier to pull out shadows than to extract highlights). Perhaps -0,7 is even better? Anybody care to experiment?

Or should probably just await new FW for better contrast. Otherwise this DVR is great

I do development for a living, I totally understand. I was curious if it was possible with the processor/sensor combo or if it was the goal. It's hard to make a jack of all trades product.
