Best resolution for the production A119?

Re: Viofo A119 camera. I have found that setting the loop length to 10 minutes will prevent the camera from using 1920x1080 60fps. It seems to lockup the camera and wont allow you to get into the menu to change the resolution. You have to power off and remove the sd card then power on and set the resolution to one of the 30fps settings, power off again then reseat the sd card. Setting it to 5 minutes works just fine. Not sure if that is a bug or not. I would prefer 10 minute loops.

I prefer 1920x1080 setting because that is the highest resolution I can display on my PC. 2K displays and cards are still a bit expnsive and I am not willing to upgrade just to occasionly play a video. Playing the higher resolutions on a 1920x1080 display seems to looks very grainy.

I really like the stealth of this camera and the GPS. I just purchased it last week so we will see how durable it is.

Known bug. Are you using a 64 gab card? Seems to only affect 64 or higher gb cards. They are working on a fix.

I used 1080 @ 60fps because its easier for me to see plates.

It would also be easier to share with law enforcement on scene, depending on their computer equipment.

Yes, only in 1080P 60FPS mode with 10 min loop recording option on 64gb cards, no this issue in latest SDK, will solve in next version.

I was getting the EXACT SAME issue when my camera was set to 1920 x 1080P 60fps.

The A119 Dashcam completely locks up and will no longer record at 1920x1080P 60fps,

After this happens the A119 can only be UN-locked and functional again after...

(STEP 1) RE-formatting the card in Windows, and then...

(STEP 2) using the GUI format program at http://support.spytecinc.com/ help/gui-format-program

I am using a Lexar 633X 64gb SD card

SPECIAL NOTE: Even if the card is 64GB, the GUI format has to be done at 32GB ( Not at 64 GB ) otherwise the Dashcam will still be locked.

We suggest use 5 min loop recording for 64GB if use 1080P 60fps mode until we fixed this issue.
