As the post title asks. I already have a hardwired Nextbasw dash cam, but am looking at purchasing the ventrue N4 as it has cabin view which I like the sound of following a very dodgy experience with a hookup.

Can I just purchase the ventrue and connect it or would I need to rehardwire it? I don't particular want to have to go through the whole hardwiring again as I broke my windscreen fitting the Nextbasw one

Thanks

It depends on the Dashcam.

I retained my Nextbase HWK because the Viofo A119 also uses a 5v 2A mini USB. Some use a 12v jack plug so check the specs.

I suspect the N4 will require too much power for your existing hardwire kit.
It also requires a USB Type C connector, and I doubt your Nextbase uses one of them.
I don't recommend using an adaptor to convert to Type C, it is likely to cause unreliability given the higher power consumption of 3 channel cameras.

If you are looking at 3 channel dash cameras, you could also look at the Viofo A139 and Viofo T130.
