Clarification of Nextbase 522GW Parking Mode, Please Help

Hello,

Ive recently purchased a Nextbase 522GW due to the concern of my car recently being vandalised by an individual by key'ing my the side of my car. I wanted to know if this dashcam model detects motion or is it just the G sensor which only starts recording for example when you get a car bump. I would like to know if it is sensitive enough so that it would record is someone is in close proximity to the car and say, touching the windows, car panels e.c.t.

hey if youre looking to catch people keying your car i dont think the 522gw is for you, the parking mode is only started up once the vehicle detects a shock (keying wont cause this) at that it has to be a large shock and only records after the shock, if you want proper parking mode, viofo thinkware or blackvue are the only real ones for buffered parking mode
