I've always said that the best way to hang someone was to keep giving them rope until they do it themselves, and it looks to me that Mr.Trump is putting his rope to good use now. Were it not for the fact that he's hurting others in the too-slow process I would not care one bit. When history looks back it sees with hindsight and clarity, and history is not going to be painting a pretty picture of our elected idiot. Nor is it going to make the citizenry who put him there look good either.

Some of the more extreme lunatics are claiming that this disease is man-made and intentional. If such were true I'd like nothing better than to convince them to create another which targets only politicians and those with political aspirations and has a 100% fatality rate. That one action would go a long way to solving many of our worlds problems.

Phil

I mentioned a target like that in a comment on youtube, some guy did not like that.

But yeah i would rather loose 30.000 politicians and suffer a little chaos after their departure, than having 3 million random people die around the world.
Even if i often say, if only 80% of us would die that would so fix any problem the survivors might have, outside of the smell and one hell of a job putting all those people in the ground or on massive funeral fires.

He may have hung himself as far as international relations are concerned, and maybe hung the USA too, but aren't his domestic poll ratings still rather high, and tend to increase when he does things like this?

"
  • A spokesman for UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said there were "no plans" to halt funding and said the WHO had "an important role to play in leading the global health response". The UK gives most of any country apart from the US
  • Germany's foreign minister Heiko Mass tweeted that strengthening the "under-funded" WHO was one of the best investments that could be made at this time
  • Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that the decision would "undermine international co-operation" in fighting the virus
  • The American Medical Association said it was a "dangerous step in the wrong direction"
  • There was no justification for the move at a time when the WHO was "needed more than ever", said the EU's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell
  • Australian PM Scott Morrison said he sympathised with Mr Trump's criticisms but that the WHO also does "a lot of important work"
  • New Zealand leader Jacinda Ardern said the WHO had provided "advice we can rely on"
  • The president was doing "whatever it takes to deflect from the fact that his administration mismanaged this crisis", said Democratic representative Eliot Engel
  • The decision was "exactly right", said US Senator Josh Hawley, among many Republicans who share Mr Trump's views on the WHO
"

"The number of Americans who approve of President Trump rose by 5 percentage points over the past week, "

I think i heard that the president are ever so popular, and that worried people ( on the other side i assume ) due to the virus stuff ASO, not enough time to mount a onslaught on him.
But at least now it seem like the other side have agreed on a guy to run against the president, even if it is still some rich old guy, which are not a person i would have much faith in, but luckily i have no say or duties in that regard.

The shortage of tp will get worse. This mill made paper towels and toilet paper.
A paper mill blew up. The explosion was caught on a cell phone.
WARNING: Swearing is heard in the video. Someone says the smoke stack is gone.

He shouldn't have needed to find out these things himself, he should have been reading the advice distributed through the WHO based on what happened elsewhere, except that Trump is leaving the WHO!

The information he was giving, along with further information and advice has already be distributed by Italy and Germany who had the experience a few weeks ago.

Some people call him a scam artist and some people find his advice helpful but keep in mind that Dr. Eric Berg is a chiropractor who gave up has practice years ago to become an "educator" and lecturer on YouTube in addition to marketing a line of high priced nutritional supplements. As with the above video he tends to recycle stories and information that has previously been featured or reported on elsewhere.

Easy to put a bolt in a hole, if someone else have already drilled the hole and tapped it.

Easy to put a bolt in a hole, if someone else have already drilled the hole and tapped it.
Not everybody can manage that, many things can go wrong!

Cross threaded,
Bolt head rounded,
Wrong strength specification of bolt,
Too much torque and ... snap!
etc.

the plastic notes can be boiled no problem
But not in the microwave, not even if fully immersed in water, partly due to them containing tiny pieces of metal that may cause arcing which will melt/burn the plastic, and partly that any moisture content in the plastic may turn to steam inside the plastic causing it to bubble, possibly what has happened in the image.

Best way to disinfect currency is to spray it with some alcohol on both sides, wait 60 seconds, wipe it clean and let it dry. Easy peezy. I did that just the other day with 4 dollars in change I received when I paid cash for an item.

I happen to have a supply of gel type Purell type hand sanitizer but I don't really care for the stuff 'cause it makes your hands feel icky an sticky.

Instead, I've been using a home made spray sanitizer that is more effective, moisturizes your hands and leaves a cleansed fresh feeling. (I was able to procure some vegetable glycerin on Amazon and I used 91% Isopropyl alcohol ). I purchased a couple of three ounce plastic spray bottles back about a month ago. It's what I used on the dollars bills.

Here is the recipe.

probably the best option for the paper notes, ours are plastic and can be boiled to disinfect, barely see cash these days though, everything is electronic transactions

current situation based on info provided

If anyone is confused about the virus please read this. I hope it clarifies
This pretty much sums up everything I’ve heard from all levels of government... Federal, State, County, elected officials and non-elected health officials.
Here is the official Coronavirus guidelines.....please follow them accordingly:
1. Basically, you can't leave the house for any reason, but if you have to, then you can.
2. Masks are useless, but maybe you have to wear one, it can save you, it is useless, but maybe it is mandatory as well.
3. Stores are closed, except those that are open.
4. You should not go to hospitals unless you have to go there. Same applies to doctors, you should only go there in case of emergency, provided you are not too sick.
5. This virus is deadly but still not too scary, except that sometimes it actually leads to a global disaster.
6. Gloves won't help, but they can still help.
7. Everyone needs to stay HOME, but it's important to GO OUT.
8. There is no shortage of groceries in the supermarket, but there are many things missing when you go there in the evening, but not in the morning. Sometimes.
9. The virus has no effect on children except those it affects.
10. Animals are not affected, but there is still a cat that tested positive in Belgium in February when no one had been tested, plus a few tigers here and there…
11. You will have many symptoms when you are sick, but you can also get sick without symptoms, have symptoms without being sick, or be contagious without having symptoms. Oh, my..
12. In order not to get sick, you have to eat well and exercise, but eat whatever you have on hand and it's better not to go out, well, but no…
13. It's better to get some fresh air, but you get looked at very wrong when you get some fresh air, and most importantly, you don't go to parks or walk. But don’t sit down, except that you can do that now if you are old, but not for too long or if you are pregnant (but not too old).
14. You can't go to retirement homes, but you have to take care of the elderly and bring food and medication.
15. If you are sick, you can't go out, but you can go to the pharmacy.
16. You can get restaurant food delivered to the house, which may have been prepared by people who didn't wear masks or gloves. But you have to have your groceries decontaminated outside for 3 hours. Pizza too?
17. Every disturbing article or disturbing interview starts with "I don't want to trigger panic, but…"
18. You can't see your older mother or grandmother, but you can take a taxi and meet an older taxi driver.
19. You can walk around with a friend but not with your family if they don't live under the same roof.
20. You are safe if you maintain the appropriate social distance, but you can’t go out with friends or strangers at the safe social distance.
21. The virus remains active on different surfaces for two hours, no, four, no, six, no, we didn't say hours, maybe days? But it takes a damp environment. Oh no, not necessarily.
22. The virus stays in the air - well no, or yes, maybe, especially in a closed room, in one hour a sick person can infect ten, so if it falls, all our children were already infected at school before it was closed. But remember, if you stay at the recommended social distance, however in certain circumstances you should maintain a greater distance, which, studies show, the virus can travel further, maybe.
23. We count the number of deaths but we don't know how many people are infected as we have only tested so far those who were "almost dead" to find out if that's what they will die of…
24. We have no treatment, except that there may be one that apparently is not dangerous unless you take too much (which is the case with all medications).
25. We should stay locked up until the virus disappears, but it will only disappear if we achieve collective immunity, so when it circulates… but we must no longer be locked up for that?
