Any idea what is going wrong here? How can I reduce the CPU load?

Disable the WIFI could lower the temp a little bit.

I had at 90о Celsius it worked fine. forgot to turn off the sun

I have just received the patch GPS eng file,should I apply it after upgrade the custom FW or before?

I have done all that and now have in the root of the SD card Folder "Blackvue"

Three files, " version", " main app DR400G" and a RAR file of "default_SD"

Is this correct I have put the upgrade folder into the "System" folder.


Did all this BEFORE putting it in the camera Correct?????


Also the Blackvue viewer came up in Russian with the Google API error so I deleted the whole Application folder and replaced it with the one from 1.005E firmware Seems to work but the recording time is still only 3 mins ??????

It says on the Blackvue site it can record up to 10 mins but I have never ever been able to get any camera do that

If gps work, to correct the voice can only be updated default_sd.tgz

Ok so IS this what we should do

Follow your instructions in the text file and install the firmware to the camera.

If the Voice doesnt work follow the instructions and add the patch files into the firmware and reinstall it in the camera.

If it works take the SD card out and delete the files from the patch.

If the GPS doesnt work what should we do.

Mio,

Thank you for the effort you've put in to get this firmware running. I installed this on two 500's and the installation went on smoothly. However, i had to use the patch gps to get the gps to work and followed the instructions in the readme to do it. Now, the camera is working without issues including the gps. Thank you once again. Now waiting for you to release the translated documentation to explore the new features.
