Dont fancy my chances of repair !

I'm still using a Barnes & Noble "Nook" HD9 tablet that I bought for ~$130 a few years ago. Beautiful 1080p screen, great battery life. But lately it's getting EXTREMELY slow. I think I'll have to do a factory reset of the OS, hopefully that'll speed it up again. But it's a pain, given that I'll need to reinstall the myriad of games that my wife bought for my daughter on the tablet. Gah, and some of those (paid) games even have ads.
