I know original name bin file dont work between LS and GT 300 series, you need to rename them in order to get them work. Same way you can try and test renaming them in order to get work with SJ1000. But this technique never tested on this dash cam yet.

Now when I switch the device on, only the blue light comes on and nothing else

If not familiar with this type of DIY, better ask support from seller, because even renaming bin file is not sure if other dash cams firmware codes / scripts are suitable for sj1000.

Gt300w firmware to use on ls300w needed to be renaimed to the same bin file name as original ls300w.
Theoretically you rename gt300w firmware bin file to same name as original sj1000, but as I have mentioned before, nobody here yet reported doing that and not yet known if sj1000 firmware script / codes are matching mg300w ones. Usually if scripts dont match, nothing happens, but you never know.

I don't know a whole lot about this particular platform but if trying the firmware from a version that has a different mainboard layout then the code should be different, best case scenario is it doesn't load at all, worst case is it bricks it, somewhere in between leaves you with a half working product that you can't roll back, I'd advise against trying a firmware that wasn't explicitly for this model

Same advice here. If it not tried / tested before, better dont try and contact seller.
