how to turn of mic ?

I have mic turned off through the menu. But I don't drive often so the dashcam does not get powered every week. Therefore it seems like the dashcam resets to factory settings which in turn has mic on. Is there any way to save the config settings to the sd card so that when the dashcam is powered on, it "loads" the settings you've predefined ? Any other way to keep the mic off ?

I loaded the new firmware in July. I had set the mic to be off. But after not using the dashcam for about 18 days, I noticed that the mic was turning on when I powered up the dashcam. So I am assuming the settings reset if the dashcam is not turned on within a certain amount of time ?
