This beta firmware is BETA and should be used for feedback. Only upgrade if you would like to and preferably have access to a Windows PC in case the camera needs to be unbricked.

How to upgrade your firmware (.bin) file:
  1. Download firmware from the below link
  2. Connect your JooVuu X or microSD card to the computer
  3. Place the firmware.bin file on the microSD card/JooVuu X. NOT in any folders.
  4. Insert the card back into the JooVuu X or simply disconnect the JooVuu X from the computer.
  5. Plug the JooVuu X into a wall charger USB plug or your car charger with the microSD card inserted.
  6. VOILA the JooVuu X will update. It takes between 1-2 minutes. Once updated it will switch off – THIS IS NORMAL. Please just press the reset button then the power button to turn it back on.

Thanks for the heads up and good to see some more positive support again for the JooVoo X on DCT.

This sort of support can only help Dan and his crew at joovoo get the software/firmware working correctly and reliably so thanks again to Pier28 and others.
