For reference, my car is a 2012 Citroën C3 II, so a fairly small 5-door hatchback.


The examples with small remote cameras mounted on fixed rear side glass are especially interesting for me, and the thin MCX cables used by the newer VIOFO systems would obviously make a clean installation much easier.


For now I’ll probably wait and see what happens around October 1st before buying anything.


Also, just as a small note: I’m not a native English speaker and I’m not an English expert, so I use AI mainly to correct my sentence structure and grammar before posting here. The technical questions and content are still my own.

Have you found any interior mounting position for side coverage that came reasonably close to the external mirror-mounted cameras?

Not really, but I’ve found depending on the type of car you might get a better POV mounting the IR Interior camera on the rear window looking forward.
The current RCC360 2K Infrared Fisheye Cabin Camera with the A329S was a big improvement in FOV, and resolution over the previous IR Interior camera from the A229 Pro.
However, it lost the dedicated photo / light sensor that made switching from full color to infrared black & white much less accurate, (two steps forward, one step back).

HAHA funny, i drive a 2022 C3 i got a couple of months ago

I understand German better than most Danes, even if i am entirely self taught in that language too. Mostly from before i actually got that language in school so i was extremely under stimulated in English and German class, so most times i was outside class or at the principals office which in turn just sent me to the library where i could read what i pleased.
But as a consequence, writing it is extremely bad though English soon got better getting on the internet later on in life.
But no problem reading German texts or watching their TV stations, though i must admit the synced voices in movies, it is pretty strange to hear John Wayne talk German.
