Magnetic mount?

Hi guys,

i want your opinion about the idea to mount the G1WH with a magnetic mount. something like this:

Would the magnet interfere with the cam and/or the sd-card?
The hole idea of magnets and electronics. I think it is always a bad mix.

I doubt it would cause problems. There are some dashcams out there that use magnetic mounts.

My question is how you would get the magnets on the G1WH. These dashcams don't have much space to put magnets into

I would use Sugru for sticking the magnets to the cam and the car. Easy to use and removable.

I used a magnetic mount like that temporarily with an A119. It held the cam ok, but if you need to push buttons on the cam, the cam may shift on the ball mount a bit.
