Has anyone figured out a way to completely 'hide' the dashcam?

I was thinking anyway to mold or reuse an ezpass box to house the unit?

Ideally I just want a rectangular box as small as possible to squeeze it in and cut out a hole

You're better off replacing the rearview mirror all together with a DVR model.

Unfortunately, replacing it on my car would be a pain. Also the mini has great quality and like the portable aspects.

I have one of those long clip-on broadway mirrors. I created a 'clip' by heating a strip of plastic in the shape of a wristwatch and stuck it on the back of the clip-on mirror. The mini now slides in/out from the left side and wont fall out (could slide out if I was broad-sided though).

Next, I was looking to try to make it less obvious from the outside, perhaps create a molding for the clip-on mirror which would hide the mini, but could still slide in/out. But have no idea about a molding

Easier said then done unless you are good with TinkerCad and have a 3D Printer.

You could always outsource this project via http://makexyz.com (find a local 3D Printer owner)

It worked for me for my CPL mod.
