Mini0801 custom firmwares

Already solved the problem but I'm quite busy atm.. Developing modification tool with GUI
And I have no idea who needs which firmware and which settings etc.. Pls inbox me or write it again here in this thread, to lazy to search :P

But: I didn't try it and used a new method for compiling the rom FS.. No idea if it works - but all addresses/checksums etc seem to be correct.
If someone with a branding/unbricking cable could try it first? Don't have my dashcam with me to try it (I'm at work right now) :P
 
I don't have a unbricking cable so if somebody could test it first....

Flashed worked well and the logo is now working well.
Did see that the bitrate on these new .MOV firmwares is pretty low.
Around 9Mbit - 10Mbit now. The previous CX4 .TS firmware is was on had a bitrate of 15.5Mbit.
Think they lowered the bitrate so much because of the problems with the .MOV files
A high bitrate .TS would be nice to have.
 
I'm still having issues with enabling TS..
But I could try to provide a MP4 Container version

maybe easier, for our cameras we do user selectable MP4 or MOV as a menu option, they are very similar from a firmware perspective, TS is I think more complex as there is some ability to recover broken files
 
Yeah, the structures of the files are pretty different. While TS is a Transport Stream using H264, MOV/MP4 are Quicktime based container formats
 
I like mov file. It can open on ipad w/o jailbreak.
