Hi all,

If i turn the G-sensor off will it effect the parking mode?

Currently all my videos are being proteced and and not overwriting when the card becomes full. Reason for this is because ive got the G-sensor set to highest sensItivity as i need maximum effect with parking mode.
I'm running on the assumption that the G-sensor needs to be active in order for parking mode to be efficient, is this correct?

Yes the G sensor needs to be on for parking, as that's what senses the impact to start the cam recording. All though parking mode is pretty useless imo, by the time it's powered on the culprit has had it on their toes/driven off. And it just fills your SD card protected folder with pointless footage everytime you open and close a door on the car thus filling the card quicker. Best thing to when parked up is leave the ca, recording the whole time parked via a powerbank under the sun visor powered via the USB tucked up there. Works a treat.
