I was thinking the same thing, the Russian meteor captured earlier this year pushed me to start researching. The price point of $100 for 1080P + GPS convinced me to finally get a starter DashCam. (The Smallest Ambarella) viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1001
I'm ready to graduate to something better at some point with slightly higher bit-rate, lens(es). (and maybe Dual rear/froward cams)
We're all looking forward to what Jokiin brings to market soon after his many months of careful brainstorming that should lead to the "best of" innovations and something we can all get behind. (with a solid full featured firmware & updates)
