Parking Mode General + Permanent Live vs. Switched

Unsure how this could happen - its drawing the same amount of current as leaving your hazards on, which the car is designed to perform faultlessly.

If you message me your email address @Auld Reekie I have a list of providers that do offer discounts.

Pm sent thanks

As long as you're insured for fire (ie not TPO) and declare the dash cam fitting as a modification to the car an insurer would surely honour any claim.

I activated Parking Mode overnight while my car stood on my drive.
It recorded nothing at all, no activation by wind or passing cars.

However I did have a problem when I came to remove the card for viewing on my PC.
Unplugging the power lead is not an option because PM is powered by the internal battery.
With the camera switched off any movement will trigger the G sensor and start the camera recording.
I solved it by switching off Parking Mode, then the camera.

Q; Is there a more straightforward procedure?
