Parking mode is terrible

I've had the 522GW for a few weeks, and overall it's not bad, but parking mode is utterly terrible, as it causes the dash cam to crash, freeze, and out right refuses to record, it looks like it needs an update to stabilize the software a bit, as with parking mode turned on the camera is unusable, and i only found this out after driving 200-300 miles and needed to press the protect button for it to nothing.
 
What setting is the g-sensor set to?

It might be irrelevant, but I had similar problems with the Duo HD, which turned out only to happen if the G-Sensor was switched off. Changing the G-Sensor to the default (medium) setting, and the problems went away.

Had a lorry cut me up on purpose, hit the button to protect the file and nothing, bloody thing isn't on. Not the 1st time so they will be getting a support ticket as the driver needed reporting
