t app key record - starts video recording
t app key menu - launches the gui menu
t app key mode - switches to playback mode
t app key power - shutdown


In th emeantime I found a way to rotate the Video and/or Display:

t app test disp_rotate
t app test vin_rotate 180

Ok thanks, in t app key record, it starts a video, but it does not stop it?
Will do more hacks then
 
It can stop the recording, too.
 
key record. Seems to be a toggle key. (same for menu and mode)

I'll Keep the Firmware and will see tomorrow if Recycling works :D basically it should since it always keeps 500mb of space
 
Just checked it and it already was in Recycling mode and deleted files. something seems to be wrong though. Three files just contain ~ 3 seconds of data.
And I got a .zzz file in the root of my sd-Card: http://dc.p-mc.eu/dl/dot.zzz
 
I just changed the resolution to 1080p (forgot to do this yesterday) - now I get 40mbps and it seems to be stable (Recycling seems to work, too).
The sample video in rainy conditions looks pretty good to me: http://dc.p-mc.eu/dl/AMBA0398.MOV (1 minute, 300MB)
 
Hi,
it does work but just records four seconds instead of ten :D and then takes a picture . But maybe thats because of my firmware modifications..

btw: it's important to add an empty line after the autoexec Content otherwise it wont work.
 
Just testing around with the other values from those Bitrate Arrays and value #2 seems to be brightness

stock value 2: 0.75 - I set it to 1.0..
stock value 3: 1.125 - Set it to 1.0
