Review: Dome D201 Ambarella A12 2560x1440p HDR GPS Dashcam (Gearbest.com)

Those who have the DAB202 might be interested in this mount.

The thread is 1/4" - 20 for a regular camera, but you could re-thread it to the smaller size of the DAB202 mount size. Not sure of the size yet. I'm in the middle of trying this with a similar mount.

Of coarse you could always buy something like this and swap parts with the original mount.

The DAB202 mount screw is not 1/4" ??

That link on Alibaba is for the minimum order of 100 pcs :)
@TaylorN , my bad... don't know why did I post the link to the mount with suction cup when discussion was about adhesive ones.
But here is another on eBay, now with the adhesive tape, not as cheap though: https://www.ebay.com/itm/171935666774

I was just showing that there is some out there with the dementions he was looking for. I may buy 100+ and put them in the box.

thanks, found it!
But I doubt if my connection plugs will fit because here is not much space between windscreen and camera

and if I can find 50 people who are interested, I might order 100 and sell them here....

I notice that the date of clips with full GPS and speed data seems to be set to 2006 for both of us.
Any ideas?
I think it is a firmware bug, this only happens with all versions of firmware that records all the GPS data.

I am not convinced it's firmware. I believe it's a DATAKAM issue.

Based on the time/date differential, it looks to be GMT with a date 10 years off.

If you adjust the time offset within DATAKAM you can get the time correct.
For my location with the normal offset -4, I used -8.

Date will still be incorrect.

As long as the date and time are correct in registration, it does not matter so much time and date displayed in Datakam Player.

I have exactly the same problem with Registrator Viewer v6.0.0.8 viewing my own files. It always displays year 2006.

No High Bitrate release beyond that one. (That I'm aware of)
I believe Falsificator will post a new one once he's done experimenting with exposure settings.

Have you been using the high bitrate release? What bitrate are you using?
Have you really noticed any difference in the quality?
If so, do you feel the increase in quality was worth the storage penalty?

(I had not made up my mind yet when I moved to 2386. Having MPH was more important for now.)
