Hello All,
I recently purchased a new vehicle and was really disappointed with the quality of the FM radio. After a few trips to the dealership and searching online I found that it was my USB to 12v cigarette lighter that was causing the interference. My old vehicle had a 12v cigarette lighter and I could just plug my Garmin Dashcam 45 in, no problem. My new vehicle no longer has a 12v cigarette lighter in the location I want and have replaced it with two USB cables. So I tried a non-name adapter from eBay and found myself without a radio.
It seems the most of the discussions and items for sale are for converting 12v to USB; I am now looking for a recommendation for the opposite. I purchased another USB to 12v cigarette lighter adapter on Amazon, they all look the same and are non-branded products. This one is MUCH better, but still makes my FM reception worse.
Any recommendations on a name brand, good solution to eliminate the RF that messes with my FM radio?
BAD eBay Purchase: USB 5V To 12V Car Cigarette Lighter
Improved Amazon Purchase: Yeworth 0.6m 5V USB to 12V Car Cigarette Lighter
