VIOFO A119 MINI_2 FIRMWARE

So, I rasied a ticket for my G sensor issue and I was directed to this website which seems to have a newer version of the FW than on their website. The FW here says V1.0_20231030, while on the website it's V1.0_20230912

Anyway, whether this one or the one from their website when I try to update it says card full. I have formatted the card and copied the FW onto it and inserted it and switched on the cam. Any suggestions?

When you want to watch video from the a119 mini 2 camera, the video sound becomes louder than in the menu.
This helps to hear the video recording while watching the video.
But when you go back to the menu, the loud sound persists. i.e. the menu and sound notification volume setting will be disabled until the next time it is turned on again.

This may happen to all models with a screen. because I created a history report for a129 pro but it did not work.

I just updated my Mini 2, and I confirm what you are seeing.

The .bin file is the exact same bytes in size as the previous version, V1.0_20230912. (so it is the same file)
So, i can surmise they updated the change log, but not the actual file that gets downloaded.

I use the md5sum program to get a file checksum to see if two files are truly identical. Yes, the v1.0_20230912 and the [current] v1.0_20231116 are identical.

It’s comforting to know the “copy & paste” guy in my old field office has a counterpart halfway around the globe. Lol

what of it? 62.8 MB (65,923,708 bytes) reported for that file The point is look at the more precise value.
if u were to modify the file even slightly, the last few bytes would change.
u can try with a .txt file. add even 1 character and the size changes.
Though, the checksum hash is also away to compare 2 files.

I detected a few software errors for the a119 mini 2.
This means a logical error for the working principle of the camera.
But I can't get an answer because they are busy these days.
I hope I can get an answer as soon as possible. Updates are late and it would be better if software errors are solved first.

They told me in an email and in this thread that it was "fixed". That's why I tested it again and found it was still not updated.
