Good 6Pj test footage, sharpness looks great, looks hazy or saturation is too low, will make adjustment from 110 to 118 on next 6Pk after reviewing more clips. thanks for sharing.
Great 6Pj clear test footage, the 1440p clip suggests +1 sharpness , -1 brightness, will wait for more footage, thanks for sharing the rare blue sky view.A couple of MOD 6Pj samples not the best but the best the weather allows. May be 5-7 days before we might see the sun again.
1 1920 x 1080p 30fps MP4 although custom text says 1440p.
1 1440p 30fps .TS

Comparisons are always useful, glad you have 2 dashcams for testing. The 1080p quality has improved using 6Pj but not as good as 1440p. May ask you to handle some Alpha A119 side-by-side testing if they are both mounted in front.I currently have 6Pj on both A119. 1 using 1920x1080 30fps No CPL WDR off and the other 1440p with CPL WDR off.
I did take some night footage but it was grainy as was to be expected. Trying to figure out the best settings for night, I will set 1 for the best night setting the other for the best day time setting.
Thanks for sharing the very good A119 sunny day footage, the 6Pk looks good even when Lens is pointed lower to maximize brightness, side effect is blown-out sky, trick is to find the sweet spot. Although the A119 is designed for higher 2560x1440 resolution for best quality those 1920x1080 clips are lower quality but acceptable, not as clear as A119S or A129 1080p dash cams. The comparisons are very revealing. Some samples of 6Pj at 1080p and 6Pk at 1440p. 2 Files in each folder each file 2 min section 6Pj and 6Pk files are the same but in different resolutions.

Hopefully can get comparison clips of 7Rf vs 6Pk on nice day to finally decide the Stable high sharpness level. So we can move on to the Special Projects.I don't have any 7Rf only 5Rf samples. I just flashed 7Rf and will try at my first opportunity at the moment I have nothing to compare. Do not know happened to 7Rf but will soon rectify.
Very Good A119 5Rg verses 7Rg modified firmware comparison, footage shows finer detail on bushes and road using 27Mbps compared to 25Mbps. Are you sure the 5Rg clip was recorded without CPL it looks darker meaning CPL was on compared to 7Rg seems like CPL was revered. Either way it does show noticeable difference in Brightness. thanks for sharing these new Stable version clips, well done, those narrow Lanes are crazy white knuckle driving but fun to watch. Some samples of 5Rg and 7Rg. Sun is extremely low in the sky, long shadows it's not long till the shortest day. Might not get a better chance for quite a few days after today. Forecast of yet more grey clouds and rain.
Googles encoding does not show these samples at best. Download for best image quality.
5Rg 1440p no CPL 7Rg 1440p with CPL
The brightness would be greatly affected by Lens angle, didn't notice it till later. A great suggestion from my YouTube Channel was to mark the lens housing and body with a silver ‘Sharpie’ for correct Lens angle position reference when reattached.5Rg was definitely with no CPL. I keep the CPL off on one of the cams and they are marked so I can tell the difference. The only difference that may have caused that is the lens angle was lower on 5Rg.
What I need is someway to fix the lens angle to stop them moving when put in place. One tube of silicon coming up.
There is nothing like playing chicken with nice big lorry.
Just checked again to make sure and 5Rg positively had no CPL. I must admit that 5Rg looks darker than 7Rg and a bit less bold on the whites perhaps a bit more balanced but why?
