Anyone know what type of external microphones are supported? Specifically has anyone tried using a Rode Video Mic?
VIOFO A229 External Microphones.

They are PC compatible, with power supplied by the camera. Only issue you are likely to have is that the Viofo ones are quite sensitive, you may find a Rode Video Mic a bit quiet.
