The main downside, imo, of the ‘T’ platform is the extra clutter on the windscreen…I’d be interested how that all looks on your car..?
I guess the logical future development will be some kind of ‘Hybrid’ lens on the front camera, like some home security cameras now offer, or possibly even twin separate lenses…but of course this crams more into the unit, likely increasing the physical size or the resulting thermal challenges involved…
Interested on the CPL experiences, specifically on the main front wide angle lens – where did you settle in the end with having it on or off..? Obviously, would be a PIA removing the CPL per daytime and night use..! There’s a lot of sun and glare where I am, particularly through the summer, which I’m hoping the CPL (along with HDR) will help with….
Curious how your findings highlighted a ‘hit’ for nighttime use – would you say this was due to the inherent light reduction of the CPL or more to do with an aspect of the polarised light..?
