Here's my cam and mount setup. I have a Rexing V1 mounted to my Jeep Wrangler using a suction cup mount. I'm using the supplied cigarette lighter adapter with the wire run inside the weatherstripping and down and under the dash for a semi-permanent mount solution. ...although the suction cup has come off a couple of times, it's usually a pretty good deal.

My rear headliner is dangling because I messed up with my Sound Deadening install years ago ~~. Oh well the back is tinted anyway.

I remember the times in the 90ties with 3 X 15 " phoenix gold subs in my car each fed 500 W, i still dont get its my eyes that's going out and not my ears which as far as i can tell do much better than my eyes.

Here's my WR1 in my 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette. It has 'scissors' wipers and this is the highest they keep clear in the center. Not sure where the RVM mount came from as my 'dashcam drawer' is a jumble, but after tightening the mirror base with an allen wrench it's sturdy and vibration-free. The pic from inside is what I see from the driver's seat- I have to lean my head slightly to see they LED's so I may shift it over some later on. Not terribly discreet from the outside but not too bad.

I've now moved mine from left of the mirror originally, onto a small "stealthmount" which was made on a 3D printer, to it's current position of immediately behind the rear view mirror as close to central as I could get it, so the view is also as close to being down the middle as I could manage.

I was interested in the process of designing and 3D printing mounts. I've already made a satisfactory low profile stealth mount from different GoPro compatible parts for my JooVuu X dashcam...

....but keen to see if I can modify for it a design like the flush-to-screen triangular mounting of the Akenori NX01

I have a VW Golf wagon with 3 Garmin 45 cameras for the front and sides, and 1 Garmin 65W at the rear looking out of the hatch. They are pretty conspicuous. The front one I have on a DIY suction mount, but want to find a way to get it out of the way, maybe just a headrest camera mount attached to the passenger seat. The side ones are on the plastic interior panels at the sides of the cargo area mounted with 3M Dual Lock. The shades on top are made of some kind of felt cardboard, but I don't remember where I got the material. The rear one is mounted to the roof of the car, which fortunately at the very back is hard plastic rather than fabric headliner.

The side cameras are angled forward so that they capture cross traffic up ahead, but the field of view is wide enough that they also overlap the rear camera

They're just powered by the cargo area 12v socket going through a splitter. My Golf came with a cargo mat so I just hid the cables under it so they wouldn't get caught on things

I mounted my front camera to the headrest post. The position is ideal IMO. The problem is it vibrates. I'm not sure if a sturdier mount would help. The tripod mount is from a Mobius cradle and I used GE brand silicone adhesive to stick it to the camera. I'm surprised how strong it holds. The camera can even twist several degrees (like when you're screwing it in) and the silicone won't break
