www.StreetGuardian.CAM & Amazon.com/streetguardian

Since there is no documentation with it I am assuming that the side with the mounting tape for sticking it to the dash goes down.

Turned it over and booted the cam, let it run and then brought the card in to see if it worked. Still no gps data in the file.

@GoFigure
Hello sorry to hear about the GPS not logging data. If we covered all the basic troubleshooting steps it's time for an RMA replacement. Since your unit is still recoding video ok I'm sure you don't want to be without your DVR recording for even one day. If this is the case we offer an express exchange Option where we can send an invoice to be paid as a deposit. Once paid we would send a new S and GPS right away. Once received you can then send the old S and GPS back to us and deposit would be refunded. Other option is we swap it out after you return it but then you'll be with no cam for a short period. Either way I'm standing by. Please send me a PM with your order and contact info.

I haven't signed on in a while and it's nice to see there is a new U.S. vendor who is also a long time member! I see your site is being updated today. Is the Amazon store coming back? The Panorama G looks like a nice little update to the camera.

Hello, We had a massive sell out and all sales channels are temporarily offline. There will be a short delay as we take advantage of this gap to change internal inventory and automated shipping systems. Stay tuned and we'll be back bigger and better than ever ASAP!

The new Amazon Store is online, and new RoadView PowerUCC Panorama inventory is on the way! (Welcome to Pier28) All Previous RC Warranties will be Honored through Pier28. You can expect the same level of over the top customer service and support since it's the same team!

I notice that you have shipping fees while shpkorea does not.

I'm curious on the price of the CPL filter which is over $40 with shipping. Is it different than the one bundled with the IIs? Going by the prices with and without it, that CPL is only $10.

Hello, we would be happy to price match if you are looking for a bundle. (CPL + Camera) We are only able to lower the price of the CPL if it's part of a Panorama sale.
P.S. Our new https://shop.pier28.com store will be online in the next few days to buy direct. (With discount codes) Until then let me know what you want in a PM and I'll send a manual PayPal invoice.

All of our items will be available in Amazon Prime (with free shipping) by next week as well.

Pier28,

I noticed on your web page you now list an address in the Peninsula. I'm located in San Bruno. Any chance on a local pick up and possibly some help in a hard wire install on a Panorama G?

Thnx

Hi we would be happy to sell you one in person to save on shipping and to say hello. We don't offer any direct installation services at this time though. I have a few expert connections. If you list the year make model of your car, I'm sure we can at least provide some pointers/recommendations/suggestions. I know a great shop in the city as well. (City Car Radio, tell them Smart Car Jon sent you) If you have a super new BMW for example, their electrical systems are too sensitive and extra special care is needed to avoid setting off a fault. The shipping operation is still in the east bay, but our new Pier28 corporate HQ is in San Francisco as you saw. I could easily keep an extra G there standing by when you're ready. I'm working on the web site now http://shop.pier28.com , just did a new product photo shoot of the Panorama G a few minutes ago. Send me a PM

Seeing as no-one has asked the obvious question yet - will the SG-GPS work with the A118 as well - you may have a few orders from this forum if so :)

Jon should be getting a few orders from the A118 thread in that case :)

Yeah I noticed the built in ones in the DOD (you know you love them really) cameras lost the GPS lock a lot more than the GT680W I have with the external unit - I guess the fact you can place these in a better location also helps (as well as the fact you can use a better chipset with a GPS mouse type device)

Someone is bound to ask whether these should be stuck to the dash logo face up, or stuck to the window logo face down as well?
