Zenfox T3 Triple channel dash cams free test invitation, limited quantity

Okay i am uploading the footage from the same 3 minutes as above, and there is a curve ball in the lower Left corner of the footage.
Please adjust the lens up to check if it still has the problem.

it should go, looks like it's the demister strip in the glass
I think Kamkar was looking at the "27" in the bottom left corner, it should not be there.

I mustn't be the only one that wasn't clear on what he was referring to in that case, adjusting the lens up sure won't change the OSD

he does quite well, better than some native english speakers that I know, if it's the 27 he was talking about that may be connected to the random Chinese characters he also has

English is an Anglo-Saxon language, and both the Angles and Saxons came from a few hundred miles south of Kamkar's home, his native language is close to the original English.

Now trying to communicate with Americans, that is far more difficult, even trying to explain what the User Manual says!

Yes it was the massive +2700 KM/h speed, if you ignore the first two digits i think it is the same as the speed indicated in the front video.
The footage look good and the way the rear camera are installed it is not as close to the glass as i use to have cameras in the back, and now i do have heater lines in the footage.

@Zenfox_Official no i dont have WIFI on all the time ( i assume you have to do that in the menu ) i turn on the wifi on my phone, and then long press the right hand button.
But i will make sure to take a look at this today too.

The wifi live view on the phone do lag a little now and then, but i assume it is the +1 camera over other systems that do that, also it do not matter as one should not have a live view going while driving, it is probably illegal here in Denmark.

It's been plugged into a lithium UPS / 12V power supply for testing as I haven't had the time to install in the car yet. I was using a new 128G card out of the package and didn't check the format before, but it seems to have more trouble shutting down properly when the card is exFAT vs FAT32. I'm planning to reformat and test a few more times to confirm. Wifi has been off the entire time as I haven't downloaded the app yet.

KuoH

File courrput happens under unplugging the charger or under powering off the car?
Do you always turn on wifi?

Seems @kamkar1 might have the wrong firmware shipped with his unit. Also the speed on the left hand side is obviously wrong unless he's piloting a super sonic jet.

Did you not use the 3M adhesive or how did you mount the cameras?

Yes my camera are glued to the windscreen with the provided mounts and sticky pads, i try to keep things as original so not to introduce failures that are out of what should be able to be replicated.
no i think wa are all on the same formware, named something like 20200515V1.0, so we should all be on V1.0 firmware.

T3V1.0 <-- You said

Double check it. Maybe you have a foreign firmware? Also did you check those settings I suggested to see if the foreign characters are listed there?

I put my camera away but that might be something in the menu and see if Custom Text Stamp or Car Number will remove those characters.

@kamkar1, have you tried reverting to the factory settings and start over again to see if the odd characters go away. After I saw your video you posted with the extra numbers in the speed count and the Chinese characters next to the Zenfox name, I went on checked with mine to see if there was displaying the same errors but mine looks normal. So I'm thinking there is a firmware glitch on yours that could possibly go away after factory reset.

Do you turn on wifi?
No. But reverting to factory settings and starting over again seemed to help with the improper shutdown. Will report if the issue comes back.
