@BlackboxMyCar , any chance that you could post some raw video from the DR750S? I'm considering buying one, but I would like to see its video unmolested by YouTube's crappy re-encoding before I make the final decision and no-one else seems to have posted any raw video yet.
Still waiting on a production sample from Blackvue to run a test on, the current ones we have on YouTube aren't great as the car has a 5% tint.
I think it'd be selling the product short if we were to post the raw samples that we have right now.
In terms of straight up video quality the F800 looks better to me, especially the rear (regardless of tint)
You can see the smoothness of the 60FPS video quite evidently but I can't say it actually helps pick up plates better, need to do some side by side testing to really know.
It would be important to consider the other factors of the camera though, beyond just video quality.
If you are looking for a Cloud feature, Blackvue's is fairly ironed out these days it seems.
No idea how the Thinkware one will be but I feel like it did take Blackvue more than a year to implement the cloud
As per a parking mode dash cam I prefer the Thinkware (lower energy consumption, better notifications, better memory partitioning, timelapse option )
