Shenzhen DOME Technology Co., Ltd will
World Premiere Ambarella A12 Dashcam. Please refer the picture for your Reference first.

The main features of Ambarella A12 are
Video Resolution: 4K (2560*1440/30FPS)
Low light: good night vision (even without light around, you can see from the video)
PS: Car Lights OFF.

Can you add a pictures and soecifications of new 4K dashcam ?

I've been using 2560 width 30fps video all year with my mini 0806, the only advantage I see with this is that it will have more chance of catching meteors while still at high altitudes as it has an extra 180 pixels at the top of the image when compared to the mini 0806...

As I know, only two of them.
No matter how they are, we are the first to have 4K Dashcam with 3 months priority.

What happened to A9 projects ?
 
A couple of others are working on A12 solutions already, how well it works on release remains to be seen, the SDK takes quite a while to mature, A7 still needs work

Other solutions coming with higher spec also, no surprises, things are always evolving

Is that model aim towards China market only? Because in Australia here (and I believe in many other countries too) we don't like that big flashy looking dashcam. I like small, discreet and black dashcam please.

Both China and Overseas who like it, i understand you--common sense. MP DVR will be in Black color, it is a dummy photo.

Yours is 2560*1080, not 2560*1440/30fps.

No, the mini 0806 is genuine 2560 pixels wide.

I expect 4K to have more pixels than that, but from your image above I guess this camera is not real 4K, just a real 4M(egapixels).
