Was thrilled thinking I was able to record my whole trip to Vegas and Grand Canyon, but very disappointed with the night quality. Road signs and license plates are completely blinded by any light source. Lots of noise too - but I can tolerate this one. Daytime recordings are great, though.
On top of that, looks like this dashcam is very sensitive to a slightly low temperature. It was around 35-40F (2-4C) degrees and it won't record anything (only the white power LED is on, everything else including the screen stays off). I had to plug it off from the power, put it right in front of the my heater for a min, and plug it back in to get it working again. And of course I have to do this every time I'm back to my car. Very annoying. The user manual says that it should be able to operate normally at as low as -10C.
This is a SG9665GC V2, newest firmware beta 27, untouched video default settings.
What settings should I tweak to resolve the first issue?
