Mini 0803 coming

Afaik theres still a firmware bug ^.^

Well, I guess I will have a lot of practice returning bad cameras. It isn't supposed to ship till almost May, so maybe it will be worked out by the time it is shipped or a firmware will be released soon. I buy from Amazon because they are so good at taking care of their customers in defective product scenarios. In the meantime I just stick my Contour Roam cam to the dash with musuem putty.

Jazjon Its been a few decades since I was your age...lol, sounds like you had a great time....nice one.

I hope they use a decent BLACK adhesive pad on the replacement 0803 camera, though we all want a discreet camera, I do feel that the o801 base has just barely sufficient adhesive pad area to hold the camera's weight, as Ive had to re-secure my camera's a few times using new adhesive pads. In fact, Ive now glued the bases to a flat piece of black plastic which effectively doubles the adhesive pad area, and since re-mounting them none have fallen of the screen since, and even with this larger pad area it still pretty discreet from outside the car.
Just something manufactures might keep in mind.

I'm older than I look, 40 this year! Heh

I was told they will have black adhesive pads no more grey.

You really look way younger.:D

It will be available soon ;)
Presell the original mini 0803 car camera, the camera will be in stock between 25th to 27th.

GOOD NEWS!

Just so you know, the bit rate in 1296p mode is ~20Mbps. It is quite high and officially:
  • TF Card, Maximum 32GB
The good news - you can use 64GB SDXC micro card (formatted as FAT32) which doubles the capacity. It just works!

still pending some firmware fixes, as yet unresolved but they're working on it
So, how Foxoffer (a reliable seller) can announce that the 0803 will be available at the end of april ?

could
estimated release date I guess, @JooVuu announced it as well, and started pre-orders, but are holding delivery until it's sorted
Could you elaborate a little bit on issue, please? I got mine and it appears to work fine. What is the problem? I am on FW200140326.

Try pausing playback and have a look at the result, there's an issue with sharpening that is blurring the picture, night video suffers the most, there's a bug with GPS and a couple of minor issues that still need to be resolved, occasional loss of sound, problem with photo mode

I just met @Rayman.Chan & got to see the Mini 0803 at the China Global Sources Trade Show in Hong Kong today. It was fun randomly running into him after all these months of mini 0801/0803 talk, very nice guy. I also got to see some new concept/prototype models on the way too. (very interesting)

Hi Jazjon,

Sorry for jumping in! You may not be surprised why I have the post below after you read below,

Nice to hear you visit Rayman.Chan at his booth, Did you see one of their new development, that is copied INNOVV?

I called Rayman, he confirmed he stole the INNOVV.

Below is the post from Rayman. Chen when he fist got INNOVV.

The Mini 0803 Ambarella A7LA50D was just introduced by FoxOffer on a presale basis, so cameras sporting chips with such capabilities will soon start to reach the market. It will do 1296P @ 60 fps or 1080P @ 30 fps with WDR & HDR. Time will tell how successful this platform is but after slogging through all the various firmware updates with the Mobius let's hope the developer has plans on migrating to the latest technology in a timely manner.
Just placed my pre-order with Fox Offer for the new Mini 0803 with GPS tracker. It will be very interesting to see how this compares with the Mobius I am currently running!
Is there anything similar to Registrator Viewer available for Apple users??

I believe If consider copy costs nothing, that would be wrong,
The much cost will be paid for the poor reputation on the forum!

Here is the blogs just released, People will see how he stole the INNOVV.

Rock, please also attach this link:
http://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/meg-s6-s7-s8-vs-innovv-c1.5057/

we can't comment in your blog, but that not means we will be silent and compromise.
we can't spend too much time on set up and argument, we are focus on better products.
MEG is trustable.
@RockThinking - I empathise with your feelings on this matter, having worked for a company in the past who then had rival companies take the concept (and very similar appearance) to introduce their own 'similar' product, when their specialised market area grew. Whilst it was extremely frustrating at the time, unfortunately it is the way of the World. I am not sure that venting your frustration on numerous Dashcamtalk Threads will do anything to help, either in short or long term. Please can you try to resolve your issues with @Rayman.Chan privately?
@Rayman.Chan - Please can you also make every effort to do likewise?
I am not taking any sides in this issue - This Forum is fantastic for getting help and feedback on issues Dashcam related, with very little of the Trolling I have seen happen on other Forums. Can I politely request we keep it that way, gentlemen?:)

There's a Registrator Viewer Mac beta version available now

Thanks @jokiin - Any ideas where to find it? I can't see a link anywhere on the Registrator Viewer website.

For anyone who has physically seen the 803.

Adding/changing internal memory to the 801 apparently was simply a case of opening the unit and inserting an SD card into a slot on the motherboard - and it could take up to 32GB with no firmware changes.
Is the 803 going to be the same ???

I ask because a retailer has told me that the 803 with internal memory won't be available until after the bare unit has been out a while, and the capacity will still be 8GB - so I was thinking that it may be quicker to buy the bare one and add a 32GB sd card if that was possible.
