Mini 0803 coming

Firmware version is still different between internal and external versions of the hardware so you'd need to wait until firmware for that was available

Sorry - my bad memory (its only 1MB ;))

I remember now - the comment was that "no change was needed to the firmware to increase the internal card size" but now I remember that it needed a card first.

@RockThinking - I empathise with your farguing ngs on this matter, having worked for a company in the past who had then had rival companies take the concept, (and very similar appearance) to introduce their own 'similar' product, when their specialised market area grew. Whilst it was extremely frustrating at the time, unfortunately it is the way of the World. I am not sure that venting your frustration on numerous Dashcamtalk Threads will do anything to help, either in short or long term. Please can you try to resolve your issues with @Rayman.Chan privately?
@Rayman.Chan - Please can you also make every effort to do likewise?
I am not taking any sides in this issue - This Forum is fantastic for getting help and feedback on issues Dashcam related, with very little of the Trolling I have seen happen on other Forums. Can I politely request we keep it that way gentlemen?:)

I would say sorry for my angry on the forum!

I care the product as my baby, but now argument means nothing!
People will see the new development from INNOVV.

Jazjon Its been a few decades since I was your age...lol, sounds like you had a great time....nice one.

I hope they use a decent BLACK adhesive pad on the replacement 0803 camera, though we all want a discreet camera, I do feel that the o801 base has just barely sufficient adhesive pad area to hold the camera's weight, as Ive had to re-secure my camera's a few times using new adhesive pads. In fact, Ive now glued the bases to a flat piece of black plastic which effectively doubles the adhesive pad area, and since re-mounting them none have fallen of the screen since, and even with this larger pad area it still pretty discreet from outside the car.
Just something manufactures might keep in mind.

Plus one for the Above ---Rayman if you are reading this please include a BLACK strong self adhesive pad with this model as had to scrape the old grey one off the base as it was too visible and actually focused your eyes onto what is supposed to be a discreet camera against the backdrop of the rear of the mirror
thanks in anticipation

For anyone who has physically seen the 803.

I ask because a retailer has told me that the 803 with internal memory won't be available until after the bare unit has been out a while, and the capacity will still be 8GB - so I was thinking that it may be quicker to buy the bare one and add a 32GB sd card if that was possible.

will have 8gb and 16gb internal memory for 803.

So why we hold selling 0803 camera due to the bugs. wish it will release soon.
It will be available soon ;)
@billknow - Is the predicted in stock/release date of 25th to 27th April still thought to be achievable? Just wondering if this date was likely to slip a little further...
Looking forward to getting my hands onto the new Mini 0803 when it is ready for release!

I'm happy to wait until it's right, even if it's pushed to May. Also wondering how much the 0801 will drop, price-wise, to clear that stock when the 0803 does show up (is it facing EOL?)

0801 is still being produced, I think it will still be around for some time yet, it has a cost advantage that some buyers don't want to ignore

I am new to this forum. I am looking for a reputable dealer to purchase an authentic Mini 0803. I've read Foxoffer and Blackboxed. Then read bad review about Foxoffer. No feedback on Blackboxed. Any recommendations?

I agree with jokiin, as I checked up on FoxOffer before pre-ordering mine from them. I found this Thread on the Forum, which sealed the deal for me http://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/fox-offer-warranty.2079/

I know that JooVuu in the UK will be stockists https://joovuu.com/gb/home/106-mini-0801-a7-wdr-mini-0803.html
and on Amazon E-PRANCE are selling it http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=electronics&field-keywords=mini 0803 dvr

I haven't bought anything from JooVuu, E-PRANCE or Blackboxed. Have a good look at their feedback scores and customer aftercare on their other products.

I placed the pre-order with FoxOffer with my eyes open, knowing that shipping from China to the UK is going to take a while. If anything goes wrong I know that there's likely to be time delay in responding to any email(s) sent and there may be a language barrier in getting any matters understood/resolved. I am happy with my choice, but if you want to pay a little more for the comfort of using a more local supplier then the choice is yours.
Good luck with whichever supplier you go for!

I've bought twice from FoxOffer. Very good communication and fast shipping (to AUS). Not to mention the best price on 0801. Will definitely use FoxOffer again.

I can recommend Joovuu. Great communication and after-sales support.
