Mini 0803 coming

Tatsudoshi - I'm having the very same problem. I went out yesterday and purchased a micro USB card (something I didn't want to have to do!) and, like you, the camera doesn't indicate that an extra card is there (no choice between internal or external memory). I recorded some footage then tried playing it back on my Windows 7 machine, and it came up with an error. However, when I tried my Mac, I WAS able to play the footage.

I e-mailed FoxOffer explaining the issue, but did not get a reply. Without being able to access the camera itself, or to view the external card through the camera, even if I get a new version of firmware, I don't see anyway I would be able to load it. I'm not happy at all with my purchases.

There is a known bug with different versions of FW not being able to see the internal memory when an external SD card is installed. 20140507 v1.0 is the last FW I am aware of where 2 cards are recognised.

Well I was able to get playback off of my sd card via pqplayer but it is the worst video quality I have ever seen, set to s.fine 1080 and ev +1
Footage is so jittery even while not moving it gives you a headache watching it and has a constant loud hum for the sound, outstanding ...
I have e-mailed Foxoffer and am awaiting a reply.
I also must add that the unit was extremely hot after only 20 minutes of use.
Oh yea the GPS does not work either.

Try flashing the firmware using a MicroSD with a firmware for Mini 0803 with internal memory.

If you or giantbunnyhead do want to purchase another Mini 0803, maybe try us, we are located in Toronto. If you have any problems, you won't have to pay the costly shipping fees to sent it back to China.

We do not have any Mini 0803 with internal memory, but the extra cost for internal memory is the same as purchasing a Micro SD card elsewhere. '

Well I flashed the memory with the last version of firmware that supports internal memory and GPS and she is pooched all it does now is the blue light comes on and that is it,no screen, zip. nada.
I guess I should have just thrown 100.00 out the window, it would have gave me the same result.

Looks like you got a faulty one, RMA it and ask for a replacement the 0803 is a great camera.

Go to the Device manager and click Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand.
Right click on each entry and click Uninstall.
Reboot computer to reinstall drivers.
Plug mini into usb an pray drivers install.

Different resellers. The one on the top if from Foxoffer (the one I bought recently).
The other one is from JooVuu (the one I ordered for a colleague).

they are from two different manufacturers, they source their cameras from different suppliers

I don't want to taint your opinion by telling you which I think is better but yes I do feel one gives slightly different results to the other, that can partially be firmware related though as the specs are different and what is required in the firmware differs as a result

Tobi@s have you had chance to compare 2 cameras? Any difference?
 
Just did one, will maybe compare at night a second time:
Both devices use the same Firmware.
