Mini0801 custom firmwares

Will create them when I'm at home
 
What image pixel size does mini 0801 use for the splash screen?

I haven't seen any specs for the 1.5" TFT display. Is it 640x480?

What? I was asking what size image he needs to make custom splash screens. Are you saying he says he needs 640x480?

838 x 633 is what the original file has

no I was saying the original image used is 640x480, must be something different about how @Tobi@s needs to do it, I guess the image gets manipulated somewhere along the line when the firmware is built from source
 
Well filesize is not relevant - I can repack it with any filesize. But the unpacked filesize dimensions are 838 x 633

Ooops.... Was a bit drunk tonight, guess I mixed it up :p
 
Flashed it but the startup logo does not work correct.
Lower part is not there :)
Flashed it twice and still not working

Huh, thats interesting. Seems the repacking process failed somehow (or I didn't overwrite the original logo completely) :(

Will update it in the evening, sorry!!
 
No problem it is already nice you make the firmwares :)
Will flash it again when but at least the cam works with the new firmware.
I came from a CX4 .TS firmware :)
