Few more sample clips from the last two days of drive

The n4s is the only model I have discovered with an imx675 internal camera sensor, while the t800 is imx662

T800 is GalaxyCore Gc2093 not imx662 has been confirmed

N4S seems decent for interior
The T800 using GC2093 is much clearer than the A229Pro using IMX307,haha

You think so, I think it's the other way around haha. IR seems clearer to me on the IMX307

Here are some more sample videos during daytime in sunny condition for front + rear camera:

What is the plastic plate that the rear camera is attached to? Is that part of the Subaru or did you mount it?

Subaru comes with a hook. I found an unused radar mount plate (metal/aluminum) that I just bended and used some 3M VHB tape to hold to the 'hook'.

Reviewing my memory card today... I noticed there was a pause in recording and the rear camera stopped recording - not sure if it's my cable connection issue, power limitation when using OBD2 hardwire kit, or the memory card (Sandisk Max Endurance 256gb). There's no notifications as far as I'm aware stating it was switching to 2-channel mode. Same thing during parking mode.

I see what you mean, the rear camera is dropping out both in normal and in parking mode
In Normal mode,The recordings for all three cameras were well behaved with 1minute consecutive loops until after 5:59 PM when all camera loops started to skip/miss recordings and the rear camera drops out.
In Parking mode, not only did the rear camera drop out at 9:36 AM, but all the recordings on June 30 are randomly skipping times and don't contain 1 minute consecutive loops

I'd try using the Cig lighter adapter for power instead of the hardwire kit for a day or two and see if it behaves. Of course you will lose parking mode.
Although I would think if it was a power problem you would have heard the camera reboot.

@runtohell121, this sounds just like the problem that I posted here (post #32). It went away when I reformatted the card, but I just noticed it again yesterday while I was making some videos. Rear camera was impacted first and most severely. Other cameras did the same a few minutes later. I was thinking my SD card was bad, but maybe not now... I haven't been able to determine any specific pattern or cause to it. Now I'm thinking this is a camera/firmware issue...

I've checked connections and all seemed secured - so I'll rule that out. Just reformatted the memory card as well.

Will revisit in a few days to see if it's behaving the same. I really don't think it would be the hardwire kit causing the issue, but I can swap the power with the S1 Pro Max and see as well in a few days if it still happens.

I turned up the resolution and used a different memory card (Vantrue 128gb) - similar issues persist - though even worst is that it stopped recording and I don't think there were any notification sounds when it stopped. A little unreliable so far with the N4S.

Highly doubt it's the Vantrue OBD hardwire kit... but just swapped power cables with the S1 Pro Max (car cigarette power adapter) - will review on Sunday or early next week.

A quick comparison between the S1 Pro Max and N4S around the same time/frame.

I had this problem and figured it was some artifact of the memory card (64GB Vantrue card). When I reformatted the card, the problem went away, but only temporarily. A few days later, I was missing files again. More files from the rear cameras than the other cameras. I was just about to buy another SD card, figuring that was part of the problem. But now I've seen the problem three times. I've reported this problem to Wendy at Vantrue.

It looks like you had the N4S front camera resolution set to 2592x1944P with aspect Ratio of 4:3 which is a good and fair comparison with S1 Pro Max 3840x2160P even though it looks a bit distorted.
I'm starting to warm up to the 4:3 ratio which has noticeably better detail.

Correct - I didn't realize highest resolution was a 4:3 ratio but does make it a little more fair cranking it to higher settings when comparing to a 4K dash cam.

Reviewed the folder this afternoon - same issue persist. Current setup is highest resolution with the Vantrue 128gb memory card, using the Vantrue cigarette 12v power adapter.

Inconsistent gaps and definitely no notification on when it stopped recording.

Same settings, different day - comparison between N4S and S1 Pro Max front + rear camera.

N4S is still the 4:3 ratio with it's highest resolution.

@runtohell121 Many of your 1 minute loops are terminated early judging by the low storage size (assuming you are not cycling power on purpose), and sometimes the rear camera completely drops out (like you already said).

Have you tried disconnecting the rear camera completely to see if the problem stops? I would disconnect from the N4S cable side.
