A129 3-wire kit

what will be the differences between SGDCHW and cable builded by Viofo?

I haven't done side by side comparison so I couldn't say for sure, functionally the same but I think the connectors are maybe different
Ok, Thanks! I mean, is SGDCHW compatible with viofo a129?

5v output, will switch 0v when parked
i.e. ACC Wire status:
0v = Park mode,
5v = Normal mode
?
For mini0906 - in reverse (5v = Park mode).

Just wonder when it will go for sale, it's already 4+ months since A129 launch, same for CPL filter ...

Just installed the sample kit. Here are some pictures.

Fuse box with connections. I added a fused link to ACC also.

Module double taped to sidewall next to fuse box

Camera with the 2 connections. Power now goes to camera, not GPS. GPS works properly

Power and rear camera cables. Both cables have 90 deg connectors. Does not look good. Needs an extension of sorts on the power cable.

Testing just beginning. Will post info tomorrow.

If you have it, could you post pictures of the inside?

Just note that one of your piggy back fuses are around the wrong way.

If you get a multimeter you'll be able to find out what side positive is.

It will work in the orientation you have it but note both circuits will only be protected by the one fuse rather than each circuit being protected by its own fuse.

I did use a multimeter. I installed them only after that. The 2 rows of fuses have 12V on the sides facing each other. Just for you, mate I'll check it again tonight.

Edit: Checked it and it's good.

May I use standard miniUSB jack instead of native power cord ?
Are they compatible ?

As I understand it, the power cable is standard.. so you can use a normal miniUSB cable.. Just the cable to the rear camera is "special"
