Hi. Unfortunately I don't really have anything to edit videos. But in my looking through the forums I think I am actually suffering from the same problem as mentioned in this thread.

I went and looked at some footage taken yesterday just after I left my house and the car had been in the garage. Everything was quite clear. Today my car was parked in a parking lot at my office and it was sunny out. It looks I am suffering from the same issue of the camera getting hot and throwing off the focus. I am not sure what to do now.

I'm getting permission error and can't download. Google Drive is not very good for open/public shares. Try sharing via http://mega.co.nz

just pick 30 seconds or so of video that highlights whatever you want to point out, will be well under 100mb then, smaller file is better for everyone

I ordered a mini 0803 from foxoffer (yet to receive), but after seeing comparative video of A118 vs Mini 0803, I convinced myself to get this A118. But after reading so many issue with this A118, I think I should be happy mini0803 which is yet to come.
 
0803 has other issues.... so, think twice :cool:

I've ordered my 3rd A118 from Foxoffer some days ago, I'll tell you if this one works as well as my others. :)

I've put the A118 up front today as a test and the day performance is fantastic, but the night performance is not so fantastic - the G90 and the Mobius definitely beat it with HDR on and off.

You can't beat that form factor though!

I'm intrigued to see what difference a new lens makes on these at night.

camping here... & thanks for sharing. hope this new model goes on sale in foxoffer soon. really have to admit the form-factor of A118 is almost 2nd to none ;)
 
Is the HDR setting supposed to do anything on these? Light levels look the same although there appear to be slightly fewer compression artifacts in the version with HDR although that could be anything like the sensor having cooled down a bit.

The HDR image looks to have a slightly cooler colour tone:
