The camera module of my A129 Duo main unit has died.
The connector ribbon is seated fine in both the camera module and in the main board slots but the module itself does not send a signal back to the main unit upon boot.
This causes a bootloop when the camera starts, the unit being stuck at the VIOFO logo with the REC and MIC leds lit.
The car wiring is fine, the camera loops even when connected to an external powerbank
Also, when plugging in the camera into my laptop, it does not get to be seen as a mass storage device as expected. It is still stuck on the boot logo.
The original cables were used in all tests.
The original VIOFO 1.9 firmware was used at all times. For testing I have tried flashing older versions: 1.8, 1.5, even the 2.2 beta but same behaviour.
Does anybody know where can I order a calibrated camera module individually?
I have not found any results on ebay/amazon.
I have understood that this issue affected the A119S model as well but could not find additional info when searching the forum.
