1) Download 1.02.03
https://www.dropbox.com/s/01bkjqndz43vasm/DHD_FullBurn.ELF?dl=1

2) Copy "DHD_FullBurn.ELF" to the root of each microSD card. (meaning not inside any folders)

3) Insert the microSD cards into your Panorama X2
(Important, your vehicle's engine must be running to ensure power is stable! Do not perform the update with the engine off)

4) Navigate via the easy to use touch screen to settings, "about" page, and press update!

5) Watch the progress bar fill up, when it's done it will shutdown/reboot.

6) You will need to change the language back to English using visual icons alone since it will be in Korean

7) Format both cards using the settings menu in the camera at least once after you're done with the upgrade.

Below is step-by-step video on how to update a firmware on Panorama X2. (thanks @@niko)

Note: This video was created before the latest exFAT support. You'll notice this video asks you to format the cards in the computer first. After 1.01.09 or above, there is no need to format cards in your computer any more. Just follow the video example so you know what to look for using the steps above.

The firmware prior to 1.02.03 was 1.02.01 & 1.01.09 (all previous fixes and features carried over)

Awesome, I'll let you know how it goes :)

In case X2 will not update a firmware showing a message like "for firmware update need both memory cards inserted", - just swap memory cards between slots.
After using a memory cards inside X2 , it creates a memory card extension name: HD2_F for the Front and HD2_R for the Rear. Maybe because of this, some time X2 might not update a firmware if memory cards are not in their correspondent slots. At least I had this issue few times ( as well as with latest FW update ), but after swapping memory cards between slots, it updated X2 well.

Uh oh. No fix for me. Have double upgraded and double formatted following upgrade. Still no rear camera recording

Do you have ACC connected to Switched Power, and BAT connected to constant non-switched power?

Please list all your settings from every page if you have a chance.

Here's what I like:

X2 Defaults:

>>Parking Mode
G-Sensor - High
Parking Movie Quality Brightness & Bitrate - HIGH for all
Parking Time - OFF
Motion Det - Middle
Power - 12.4
Rear - ON

>>BEEP - ON

>>>Menu
Record Minute - 2 Minute
Driving G-Sensor - Low
Driving Movie Quality Brightness & Bitrate - HIGH for all

>>>>Setup
Language - English
Time Zone - (-08)
LCD Standby - 30 Sec
LED Setup - Off
Speaker - Middle

I definitely have ACC to switched power and batt to a constant power source. The camera enters and exits parking mode.

Parking Motion Detection off = no recording (so choose one of the three on choices)
Rear view camera needs to be "on" (which you have)

Parking Motion Detection should be set to one of the On choices. Off is probably the problem there.
It's too windy where I am to motion detect. Even on low it doesn't stop recording. Even from the shortest park I have hundreds of videos

In addition the motion lists as motion. I need a gsensor recording.

Plus there is the fact it works OK on the front with those settings - as expected

Please help me understand "I need a gsensor recording" Is it your gsensor parking mode low/medium/high working?

[8:15:14 PM] S.M Jang: motion detect...if something changed, it should record
[8:15:23 PM] S.M Jang: different with g-sensor

Of course, no problem I will try and explain as fully as I can.

My motion sensor works as expected. Both front and back detection motion.

I park in busy areas where motion detection is not reliable, due to heavy people traffic passing and high winds.

Even on low settings my motion sensor picks up hundreds of files over a short space of time.

Therefore I need to rely on gsensor only. My front camera detects gsensor and records. My rear camera does not.

If I use my front camera I can see motion and gsensor recordings. The front camera works as expected in this respect.

My rear camera will pick up motion recordings but will not measure gsensor recordings. Gsensor on the rear camera always stays on 0 count. Therefore I do not get a parking file on the rear camera when the gsensor is activated.

I have tried a mixture of setting with motion and gsensor combinations. I never get a record count for gsensor on my rear camera.

I hope this clarifies and explains my issue in more detail. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Any motion detection = recording. There is no AI going on here. I'll see if I can gather more details on exactly what is tuned between low/med/high

The g-sensor is located inside the main unit up front, this is normal.
