Yes, I updated it through the app today.

The updated firmware was supposed to fix low audio volume level but my ears say it's still kind of low.

To be honest, I haven't gotten around to testing the video and sound yet.

Did you actually disassemble the camera? Your internal photos were great.
I am pretty handy with electronic stuff but disassembling small consumer electronics is not so easy.
Actually it's the putting back together and getting it to work part that is hard 🙄

I've seen ones that are longer in base kits for products. Not saying we need a monopod, but just thought it would have been a tad longer ok.

It's a selfie stick, to be hand held, and about the length you want, especially if there isn't any stabilisation.
Even if they add stabilisation, you are going to need to hold it horizontal, since it doesn't have 360° vertically.
It would be nice to be able to extend it to tripod length, but since it has batteries inside, that would need to be an extra section screwed on the top or bottom, doesn't look like that is possible?

Of course not. She hasn't earned it yet.

There is a standard 1/4" tripod socket on the base of the battery stick, so a user could attach it to a taller tripod if they wished.

On the left and right you can see a person located to the left of the car.
So the E360 shoots 360° video and it doesn't matter that not everything around can be seen. 😉
