The latest firmware sended isnt working for me.

After 'succesfully' upgraded firmware it restarts.. start up sound and after that its shuts down



altough the 1.1.1 without de patch is working for me

in the revised version, I forgot about the access rights

create a file _SAVECFG_ and put in the root flashcards, turn dash cam

im loosing track of all these patches, I got original 1.1.1ae and got patch installed as well and im going ok I think. I have voices turned off though.

mio, great stuff this new fimware. Thanx for making this possible.

Now I want to check some settings and dont always want to reboot.. I could not find the startscript.

What I want to do is:
--> Stop Activity
--> Change some Settings
--> Start Activity
--> Check the Video
and so on...

how can I start recording from the shell?

Maybe it also would make sense to build a script into the webserver to make a manual "dosfsck" to the memory card, for the case that you do not have a laptop with you and the "check SD-Card" error appears....

Really love the video quality of the new updated firmware.

I also installed a Kodak circular polarizer filter lens on top of the dashcam.

And the difference is huge. the colors are more vibrant now. And also it reduced the dash reflection in the windshield, so there's no glare. I still have to tweak the filter a bit

Mio, is there any difference between this revised 1.1.1aE and the one in which we patch the GPS ourselves?

Also, is it possible for us to modify the stamp that the DVR adds in this firmware?

Just tried change some settings on 1.1.1 , want to see any difference during low light night time driving (Less street lights and less building lights)
Tried custom AWB, AWB sensor = 2, 3 . Night Brightness AGGN = 1, 3, 5, 7
End up keeping the default setting for now. Its a bit dark overall but better balance on noise control and exposure.
